Scope and Contents

Geronimo’s visit to the Gray Ranch to try to recover some stolen horses and was almost killed by Mike Burke. A man named Miller killed and mutilated by Apaches near Deer Creek. Chasing Apaches who had stolen some Diamond A horses but they got away in Cajon Bonito. Describes a large roundup. Killing of two men (Escalante & Hogdin) by Apaches at the Davenport Ranch. Went with Deputy Sheriff to Alamo Hueco to capture a man named Lon Neil.
