Roundup wagons on Mainstreet, Clayton, New Mexico. Part of the Albert W. Thompson Pictorial Collection (Box 1, Folder 1).
The Albert W. Thompson Papers contain news clippings, articles, and manuscripts about the early days in the West, specifically, Clayton, Union County, and northeastern New Mexico. Most of the materials were written by Thompson, however, some of the newspaper columns were written by others. Black Jack Ketchem is a prominent subject within the collection. Miscellaneous materials include flyers, correspondence, a map, and notes.
