Original Accession, 1880-1942
Scope and Content
The Cobb Memorial Collection consists of photographic prints made by The Cobb Studio.
Most of the images in this collection were made in New Mexico, primarily in and around Albuquerque.
The glass plate negatives are mostly portraits of Isleta men, women, and children. As well as a few landscapes, including a Moqui (Hopi) camp.
In many ways, the collection is a broad, visual documentary on the life and growth of the city of Albuquerque.
