International Industrial Exposition Album,, 1908
Scope and Content
Photographs taken on the occasion of the International Industrial Exposition held in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1908. Includes portraits of officials and dignitaries, agricultural fair displays, parade, and important commercial buildings, many draped in American flags and bunting. Among the buildings shown are the Santa Fe railroad station and Alvarado Hotel, the Commercial Club, and the National Guard building. The Women's Christian Temperance League float is included, as are numerous pictures of bands, one whose bass drum is labeled "B.P.O.E. No. 90, Pueblo." Photographs are 33 x 26 cm.
