All letters are written and signed by Jose E. Anduaga, Ahuazotepec, Puebla, México. They are written to high ranking military officials and politicians including Mexican President Francisco I. Madero and politician and journalist Jesús Flores Magón. Some pages have stamped seal of the "Ejercito Libertador, Regimiento de Ahuazotepec - Huauchinango".
