Scope and Content

This collection contains digitized images of and around the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway workshop in Albuquerque in 1971. The photographs show a typical work day around the railyard. Images include the Depot Cafe, railyard workers, blacksmiths and welders, train cars, Imperial Laundry, Rachel's Cafe, close up details of the workshop (tools, time clock, wheels, etc.), train cooks, roundhouse, and the train station.
