Scope and Content
André Roosevelt's "Quito Churches" was published in Quito, Ecuador by Editorial Gutenberg in 1939. The bound album contains 48 mounted photographic plates which depict churches and other ecclesiastic structures built in Quito during the colonial era. The only text is the English title page and index. The following churches are depicted: El Tejar, San Francisco, La Compañia, La Catuña, La Catedral, Santo Domingo, San Agustin, La Merced, Inquisition, Sagrario, Guapulo. Prints are 6.75 x 9 in.
