Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists of audio cassette recordings and transcripts of 75 oral history interviews with Spanish speaking old timers living within 60 miles of Las Vegas, New Mexico. The audiotapes and transcripts are English translations of the original interviews which were conducted in Spanish. There are 2 sets of transcripts in bound volumes. One set is in large print, and the other in regular print. Both sets have index volumes. There is no audio cassette for interview #10....
