Architecture -- New Mexico -- Pictorial works

This collection contains photographs of various locales, primarily in New Mexico. Most images are of buildings and architectural details of buildings in small towns, cities, and the pueblos of New Mexico.

Photographs concerning government-sponsored art during the Depression era that were supported by the Work Projects Administration (WPA) and related organizations. Focuses on works of art, artists, art centers, art education, governmental officials, and politicians involved in these public art projects.

Collection includes selected items representing the activities of the former Bunting Visual Resources Library at UNM. Formats include slides, study photographs, and digital photographs, along with administrative, project, and vendor records. The primary subjects are New Mexico architecture and art, and image sources determine arrangement.

The collection consists of 36 black and white photographs of St. Anthony’s Orphanage in Albuquerque, NM. Photos document the classroom-dormitory, auditorium, and chapel additions to the original structure. Also included is an index to the photos, an historical narrative, and correspondence regarding HABS documentation.

Collection consists mainly of portraits of Huning and Fergusson family members.

The Marion Grace Saunders Pictorial Collection consists of photo albums, loose black and white photographs, a typed research paper with attached photographs and hand-drawn details of fountains, and slides from Marion Grace Saunders archeological travels in Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Arizona, California and New Mexico.

Photographs documenting the life of Ross Calvin, a minister and naturalist who moved to New Mexico in 1927.

This collection contains photographs of New Mexico architecture and Apache delegations.
