The Albuquerque Booksellers Coalition worked with the UNM Campus Community Coalition to oppose the building of the proposed University of New Mexico bookstore on Central Avenue. This collection includes student and community generated meeting agendas, minutes, flyers, announcements and clippings.

A UNM faculty member from 1986 till 2014, Professor Christine Sierra’s expertise is in American Politics with a focus on Latino/a politics, and women in politics. Much of her scholarship analyzed community organization's work on immigration, education, and other forms of activism. The material in this collection reflects the extensive research conducted by Christine Sierra.

Howard N. Rabinowitz Papers
The Howard N. Rabinowitz papers span his over twenty-five year career as a professor of history at the University of New Mexico, documenting his academic achievements in his fields of specialization: Southern, African American and Urban history. Included are an unpublished manuscript and research on the post-war development of Albuquerque, New Mexico, personal and professional correspondence, and materials related to his professional activities.
National Education Task Force de la Raza
The bulk of the collection materials are from 1973-1976 when Rupert Trujillo was chair of the Task Force. The materials focus on activities of the Task Force, particularly on conferences and workshops held during that time. There are several files related to bilingual-bicultural education, both in creating training programs and trying to get legislation passed. The collection also contains several reports of activities from around the country.
New Mexico Geographic Information Council Records
New Mexico Geographic Information Council partners with state and federal agencies to provide services and materials on geographic information systems and technologies. This collection includes founding papers, newsletters, conference materials and the first survey to assess geographic information and technology in New Mexico.
